IGLTA members represent all facets of the travel and tourism industry. Travel related organizations become part of IGLTA and give the world of LGBT travel a unified voice. Becoming a member of IGLTA will open up your business to a plethora of opportunity. When you join our association you position yourself as a leading business dedicated to furthering LGBT tourism. IGLTA's 27th Annual Convention will be in Antwerp, Belgium! From 23 - 26 June 2010 this geat Flemish city will be home to amazing break-out sessions, some power networking, great times and important education. Each year, IGLTA members organize Symposia / FAM Trips to various parts of the globe that might be of interest to GLBT travelers. Recently, symposia have taken place in Costa Rica, Dallas, Antwerp, Chicago, Barcelona, New York City, Buenos Aires, Curacao, Lisbon and Tuscany.

Every member of IGLTA has a profile on www.iglta.org. This profile shows your organization's name, contact information, business type, a brief description as well as a logo, social networking information and one image. IGLTA's website attracts businesses and consumers from around the world and searches for LGBT travel will yield IGLTA and ultimately your profile.
Premium Add-On* - This add-on gives your profile a boost to showcase your business even further. Three things happen when you add-on this package: 1) Your listing will rotate in the left-hand box that says "Member Showcase"; 2) Your profile will appear at the top of Searches that include your business and 3) you will be able to add various photo albums to your profile - perfect for showcasing your property, destination or trips!
Our website has a multitude of ways you can showcase your business other than just your profile. Through our calendars you can advertise your events or tours that you are having. In our destination pages, your listing will appear with other members in your destination so travelers can access the information they need. This - in conjunction with our content on Insider Out Travel are added ways to showcase your business to LGBT travelers.
Networking and edcuation do not just happen at IGLTA events in person! We have implemented many online resources to connect our members and increase the ability to do business. Through social networking and online resources, you can now learn about the LGBT market and connect with businesses even easier than before with sites like Ning, Facebook and Twitter.
IGLTA sends members an e-mail update once a week on Wednesdays. Members can sponsor these blasts and provide an advertisement or a story about a product or service offered. The e-mail blasts go to our entire membership database that spans the globe.
In addition to our membership database we have a consumer database of almost 5000 consumers that also spans the globe. We can send any sort of HTML e-mail blast to this group that is less than 600px wide.
Suppliers have the ability to send an e-mail blast specifically to our Tour Operator / Travel Agent members. This is an HTML e-mail blast that the organization can design, informing our travel agent members about specials, deals and other opportunities.
All members have the ability to buy advertising space on the right hand of our site at www.iglta.org. There are three available sizes: 160x86, 160x160 and 160x600. Click here for more details about specifications and pricing.
There is also an opportunity to place a horizontal banner sized 468x60 on our Search Page. You can specify which search term you want your banner to appear on. For instance, if you want to have your advertisement displayed to all people searching for things in Las Vegas, you can make it so your ad appears whenever people search for that city.
